Large Property Holder Declaration
New Procedure to Declare Large Property Holder Status Now Available.
Sicen 27 February 2025, the Goverment of Catalonia has enabled a specific online procedure to declare Large Property Holder Status, as establinshed by Decree Law 2/2025, of 25 February.
This declaration is now mandatory for all individuals or legal entities that meet the established criteria, event if they have already submitted a general request previously.
The form is available via this link. The process is straightforward and must be completed using a valid digital certificate recognised by the Generalitat de Catalunya.
In the form, you must indicate:
- Whether the status is recognised under Catalan Law 24/2015, Art 5.9 Spanish Law 12/2023, Art 3.K, or both.
- The total number of residential units owned by the individual or legal entity.
Thist procedure can be carried out by your trusted agent, provided they have the appropirate documentation and authoiristation.
